Is the Free plan really free forever?
Yes. The Free plan includes all core monitoring features — camera, mic, location, and network alerts via Telegram. No time limit, no credit card required. It's free forever.
Do I need Telegram to use Maclaw?
You need a Telegram bot to receive alerts. Setup takes about 2 minutes: create a bot via @BotFather, paste the token into Maclaw, and you're done. The Pro plan also uses Telegram for remote control commands.
Is my data private and secure?
Maclaw runs entirely on your Mac. Your monitoring data stays on your machine — nothing is sent to Maclaw servers. Alerts go directly from your Mac to your personal Telegram bot.
What macOS versions are supported?
Maclaw supports macOS 13 (Ventura) and later, including macOS 14 (Sonoma) and macOS 15 (Sequoia). Both Intel and Apple Silicon Macs are fully supported.
When will Pro be available?
